Arch Linux Website

Arch Linux is an i686, binary based distribution which I find similar to Gentoo, but is binary rather than source based. You can have a bleeding-edge, up-to-date command-line system within 10 minutes, or less. You can install from FTP (preferred) or from a disk.

Arch is speedy, as it is made for i686 processors. There are, however, AMD64 and (I believe) i586 editions. The forums are friendly, and the website comprehensive.

The pacman repositories are quite full, and the package manager itself is easy to use – yet feature-packed. The main website, linked above, has a list of the latest updated packages too. I find this really handy, myself.
